Scalextric Ford Mustang Alan Mann Racing #6 1:32 Slot Car

The "pony car," which was the first of the muscle cars, was named after the successful World War II fighter airplane, the P-51 Mustang, and it first rolled off the manufacturing floor in 1964. Considered part of the first generation of Mustangs, this vehicle was designed with a more sportscar-like physique before Ford decided to bulk up the body. Alan Mann Racing has been racing Ford vehicles since he established his team in 1963 and officially became a Ford Factory Team the following year. Adorned in the iconic Alan Mann Racing colors of red and gold, the team has been behind the wheel of these Ford Mustangs since 1965 and can even be spotted racing around the track in historic racing events sporting the same colors. The team was revived in 2004 and is now operated by Alan Mann's sons, allowing his legacy to live on.
