To upgrade your existing analog slot car set, you will need a Scalextric Digital Powerbase C8435 with Digital Hand Controllers C8438, digital lane change pieces and upgrade your cars with the Digital Plug Ready (DPR) Chip, C8515 for a standard car, C8516 for open wheel/ single seaters. Buying a Scalextric Digital Set would allow you to upgrade your analog set the quickest, but all the parts can be purchased separately!
